What is the CGH Growth Track?

Uncover · Build · Grow

The CGH Growth Track is a structured, cohort-based advisory programme that takes a small group of carefully selected founders and organisational leaders through the full CGH methodology: Uncover → Build → Grow.

Over 6 fortnightly Saturday sessions, you will work through 5 key dimensions of your business or organisation with expert facilitation, peer accountability, and tools you keep and use beyond the programme.

You will leave with a written diagnostic of where you are, a 12-month roadmap for where you are going, an implementation support partner, and a network of peers who understand the Kenyan business context because they are building in it too.

Programme Arc

01

Uncover

A structured diagnostic across five business dimensions surfaces where you are stalling and why—producing a written assessment you keep beyond the programme.

02

Build

Expert-facilitated working sessions and weekly assignments translate insight into practical tools, systems, and decisions you apply immediately in your business or organisation.

03

Grow

You leave with a 12-month roadmap, an implementation support partner, and a peer network of Kenyan founders and leaders building in your context.

What is Included

  • 6 fortnightly Saturday sessions (9am–1pm) at Westerwelle Startup Haus, Mombasa

  • Expert facilitation and peer accountability

Who Is This For?

Track A — Growth-Stage SMEs

You are the founder or co-founder of a business that has been operating for 3+ years with paying customers and a revenue-generating track record. You are experiencing a growth plateau you cannot diagnose, and you are ready to invest seriously in the next stage.

You are looking for

  • Strategic clarity
  • The right partnerships and funding connections
  • An implementation support partner & peer group that understands your context

Track B — Mission-Driven Organisations

You are the Executive Director or founder of an NGO, CBO, or social enterprise that has been operating for 3+ years with active programmes. Mission-driven impact is your primary measure of success, and you are navigating a gap between mission ambition and operating capacity—or a funding transition.

You are looking for

  • Stronger systems and MEL capacity
  • A clearer funding and partnership strategy
  • Better ways to demonstrate and communicate impact
What We Ask of You

This programme is subsidised by CGH and our partners. In return, we ask for your full commitment:

  • Attend all 6 sessions (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM). A maximum of 1 absence is permitted.
  • Complete the fortnightly assignment between each session and bring it to the next one.
  • Participate honestly in the baseline assessment and all four follow-up check-ins at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months after the programme.
  • Allow CGH to use your anonymised outcomes in its proof-of-concept reporting and funding applications.

Participants who cannot commit to all four requirements are encouraged to apply for Cohort 2 when their schedule allows.
